(Feb. 15, 2011) The Korean American Voters’ Council (KAVC), as part of its civic education campaign, visited the Senior Citizen Voters’ Federation’s Flushing office and held a seminar about voter registration processes. The Senior Citizen Voters’ Federation opened its Flushing, NY office today and invited several prominent members of the Korean community, Federation members, and City Councilman Peter Koo.
Before the opening ceremony, the Senior Citizen Voters’ Federation held an education seminar for its district staff and members about voter registration methods and process, voting methods and procedures, and applications for absentee ballots.
The seminar was hosted by KAVC President Dongchan Kim.
