KACE has been advocating the voting rights of community members. KACE specially works to mobilize, increase accessibility to polls, and educate community on how to exercise their voting rights. KACE combines various strategies including litigation, grassroots lobbying and community education to protect voting rights.

KACE has been conducting voter registration drives at a variety of venues including churches and community centers
KACE registered more than 25,000 new Korean voters in NY and NJ since 1996
Annually, KACE assists more than 1,200 voters to register, change address, change party affiliations, and check poll site locations

KACE operates voter hotlines to resolve any issues and concerns that a voter may face at a poll site on an election day.
KACE has served over 800 voters through the hot-line program.

To protect Korean American voters’ voting rights from being diluted by gerrymandering practices, KACE is actively involved in local and federal redistricting processes.
**Korean American Civic Empowerment for Community is registered as a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization with the Internal Revenue Service. Your donations and contributions are tax-deductible. KACE sends out certificates of contribution within 15 days of receipt. Please take the certificate(s) to your tax professional when preparing your annual tax return.If you choose to support us regularly or at multiple times, we can send a certificate at the end of the year as well.
