Congressman Eni Faleomavaega , who is a member of the House Committee on Foreign Affairs and the House Committee on Natural Resources, released a statement that was recorded as a congressional record on July 28th. The statement urged the Japanese government to comply with House Resolution 121 that was passed three years ago by making an official apology and educating its youths about the “comfort women” without any distortion.

This statement is to be recorded in the proceedings and debates of the 111th Congress, and implies Faleomavaega’s acknowledgement of the effort made by KAVC.
