Delivering the Voting registration form to New Jersey

On May 18th, Korean American Voter’s Council delivered 44 chapters of new voter registration forms, collected for last two weeks to Catherine Donovan (Kathleen Donovan), a clerk of Bergen County. Donovan clerk urged Koreans to participate in this election, so it would bring a stability and well-being to immigrant communities such as Korean community. In addition, she praised about the effort that Korean center made to ensure more Korean voters over the past few years. 

 

Donovan clerk said the expectation of a Korean translated guide that the KAVC had working on since 2005 are now looking forward to be conducted by 2011 through the official population research.

 

New Jersey holds a primary election on June 8th. The KAVC will now help Korean voters to participate more by having educational campaign and postal voting system.
