뉴욕우리교회 시민참여센터 2023 유권자 등록 및 선거안내 캠페인 (KACE Voter Registration Drive at Woori Church 2.4.2023)

시민참여센터의 사무국장 리처드 인 변호사와 법률대책위 위원장인 최양수 변호사 그리고 김동찬 대표는 뉴욕 우리교회 (담인 조원태 목사)를 방문하여 2023년 인구조사로 새롭게 조정된 선거구에 따른 뉴욕시 시의원 선거에 대한 안내를 하였다.

On Sunday February 4, 2023, Richard In, Esq. (KACE Executive Director), Young Soo Choi, Esq. (KACE Legal Task Force Chairman), and Dong Chan Kim (KACE President) visited Woori Church in New York City, providing information about the upcoming Primary Elections in New York.

특히 리처드 인 사무국장은 영어 예배 팀을 찾아서 한인 유권자중 18세 이상 30세 미만 유권자가 다른 커뮤니티의 평균에 훨씬 미치지 못하고 있다고 설명하면서 영어권 청년들의 참여를 독려하였다.

Richard In also visited the English Ministry, encouraging eligible voters to make sure they are registered to vote. Korean American eligible voters between the ages of 18 to 30 are underrepresented in the pool of registered voters according to recent census data. Registering to vote is just the start to having your voices heard and your concerns addressed. Go register to vote, and then go vote.
