Dear All:

We were made aware of an opportunity to visit Korea as part of a program hosted by the Korean Youth Organization (www.koya.or.kr).

This program is a Korean Future Leader Initiative funded by the Korean Youth Organization and other related organizations. We feel that this is a very important opportunity and we sincerely hope that some of you will be able to make it to this program.

This event will be held from Wednesday, July 17th, 2013 to Saturday, July 27th, 2013, which is about 11 days. You will visit various sites in Seoul, Gyeonggi-do, Jeonju, and etc. High school students and college students are eligible to apply. The program consists of: youth networking, Korean culture experience, Korean history experience, visits to various high –tech industrial complexes, and government building visits. This program is FREE of all costs, except for traveler’s insurance and your personal costs.

The application is in Korean and must be completed in Korean as well. The application consists of several documents:

–          Recommendation (to be completed by KACE)

–          Application (to be completed by applicant)

–          Personal Statement, Statement describing your motivations and plans for this visit.

–          Copy of your passport

Please note that this is open to applicants that are documented (i.e. citizens, permanent residents, etc.). We cannot provide a guarantee of return to the United States if you are under DACA or are undocumented.

The application is due on Friday, June 14th. If you are interested, please fill out the application and send it as soon as possible to cno@kace.org.
