On August 12th 2011, the Korean American Voters’ Council (KAVC) interns and volunteers went on the 7 Train for the second time to receive community surveys. The interns and volunteers asked people of all ethnicities to fill out the community survey. The interns and volunteers went round trip from Flushing Main Street to Time Square and also round trip from Flushing Main Street to Queensboro Plaza. From the two trips, the interns and volunteers obtain 116 new surveys. The 116 new surveys give KAVC a new total of 353 surveys, 147 surveys away from our goal.
The KAVC volunteers that went out to the 7 train were Peter Park, Gabriel Yoon, Alex Park, Yusun Na, and Sam Kim. And the KAVC interns were Daniel Chun, Sarah Kim, Cindy Park, Sangbo Nam, Stella Kim, Jae Eun Kim, Alex Kim, Jane Chun, and Michael Choi. The supervisor for this event was Hojun Lee.
