On August 10th 2011, the Korean American Voters’ Council (KAVC) interns and volunteers went to Union St. to receive more community surveys and voter registration. The interns and volunteers asked residents in a local park, Mitchell-Linden library, and H mart for both community surveys and voter registrations. The interns and volunteers who went out to Union St. were Jane Chun, Sangbo Nam, Stella Kim, Daniel Chun, Alex Park, Sarah Kim, and Cindy Park. The interns and volunteers only gained 4 community surveys and 0 voter registrations.

Although there were no registrations gained, the interns and volunteers hope and will try harder to receive more voter registrations. And finally the 4 new community surveys gives us a total of 230 surveys, 270 surveys away from our goal.
