Community Surveys in the 7 train

On Monday, August 8, 2011, Korean American Voters’ Council (KAVC) New York intern coordinators Nuri Han, and Hojun Lee and interns Peter Park, Stella Kim, Gabriel Yoon, Jane Chun, Daniel Chun, Alex Park, and Sangbo Nam took the 7 train from Flushing, New York to Queens Borough Plaza, New York and back to gather community surveys from the public. From 3:30 P.M. to 6:00 P.M., the interns, going from one subway car to the next, asked people politely to fill out the survey. They obtained 66 new surveys, which increased the total number of surveys to a total of 214.
