Redistricting of NJ District 37 Comes into Focus

Bergen County’s prominent newspaper “North Jersey” exclusively covered KAVC’s testimony on redistricting District 37 at the Commission’s hearing.

The testimony was written with KAVC Staff Attorney Chejin Park, Former Fort Lee Korean American Association President Andrew Kim, FGS Community Center’s Kay Song’s opinions as well as the concerns of Asians and Korean Americans.

KAVC also underscored the importance of federal guidelines for the redistricting process and that District 37 must be able to encompass all Asians during the public hearing.
