Korean American Voters’ Council (KAVC) in conjunction with the Korean American Association of Fort Lee held a voter registration and absentee ballot education event on February 15 at the Fort Lee Library. 7 people from the Korean American Association and the Fort Lee Parent-Teacher Association participated in the event. With what they learned here, the Korean American Association and the Fort Lee Parent-Teacher Association plans to hold voter registration campaigns in anticipation of the education elections in April

To facilitate Korean-American participation in American society, the KAVC is holding various educational events in various venues to educate Korean voters. It is a community project geared towards educating and empowering Korean Americans to participate in their local communities. Through this, KAVC hopes that Korean Americans voice heir opinions in local, state, and federal governments.
