Voter Registration Drive at New Jersey Cho Dae Church, August 1st

On August 1st, KAVC interns and volunteers held a voter registration drive at Cho Dae Church in New Jersey.
Students received 60 new voter registrations from 10:00 AM to 3:30 PM, 55 of them for New Jersey and the rest for New York.
Some people did not know that they were required to register before they vote, and some asked what they can gain by registering.
KAVC informed the people about voting by mail, which is strongly recommended by New Jersey government, and distributed forms needed for voting by mail. Actor In Pyo Cha also visisted the drive to encourage the interns and the volutneers.
The participants of the drive include: Alex Kim (Bergen Academy 11학년), Joshua Lee(Bergen Academy 12), Jisoo Park (Bergen Academy 11), Kevin Chung(Norwood 12), Gloria Yun(St. Michael college), Michelle Kim(Stuyvesant 12), Jayyun Im(Great Neck South 11), Sam Kim(Schreiber 11), Haeun Hyun(Jericho 10), Jieun Hyun(Jericho 12), and Minji Kim(Intern Coordinator).
