General Election: Proposals Up for Public Vote

New York General Election Proposals
This year there will be two proposals regarding amendments to existing legislature on the general election ballot.
The first is regarding an amendment allowing construction of a 46kV powerline on forest preserve land.
The second is regarding an amendment allowing inmates in state and local correctional facilities to voluntarily preform work at nonprofit organizations.

New Jersey General Election Proposal (“Public Question”)
This year there will be only on public question on the general election ballot.
The public question is regarding the creation of the “GREEN ACRES, WATER SUPPLY AND FLOODPLAIN PROTECTION, AND FARMLAND AND HISTORIC PRESERVATION BOND ACT OF 2009”.
