On October 9, 2009, the Korean American Voters’ Council (KAVC) made a final visit to the Board of Elections to deliver the collected voter registration drives from past campaigns before the General Elections on November 3, 2009.
A total of 139 voter registrations were delivered during this trip to the Board of Elections. The voters who have registered via KAVC will receive an acknowledgement notice from the BOE before November 3rd. The notice includes name, address, district, voter serial number and party affiliation. Voters should closely check the information on the acknowledgement for errors. A letter to BOE is necessary to fix the errors.
The General Election is on November 3, 2009, and the last day to apply for absentee ballot via mail is October 27, 2009.
