On October 3, 2009, the Korean American Voters’ Council (KAVC) continued its intense Voter Registration Initiative during the festivities of the Korean Parade in Manhattan, hosted by the Korean American Association of Greater New York (KAAGNY).

The Korean Parade has traditionally been one of the greatest displays of Korean heritage and culture in one place and allows Koreans of all ages and generations to come together under one banner in pride.

Graciously KAAGNY provided KAVC with a spacious tent for the drive to conduct voter registration, however, due to the large number of Korean immigrants coming out for the parade, KAVC collected 9 new voter registrations for this event.
