KAVC Summer Internship Program 2009

The Korean American Voters’ Council has begun taking applications for it 2009 Summer Internship Program.

This is a 6-week non-paid, part-time equivalent program, from June 29th through August 7th. Interns are expected to spend a minimum 20 hours a week, for a total of 120 clock hours over the course of this program.

The KAVC SIP Program focus mainly on grassroots community based issues, usually dealing with, but not limited to voting rights advocacy.

Looking for an exciting local community based internship program in the fields of political science, grassroots/non-profit, and law? High School Sophmores and Seniors and College Freshmen, look no further. KAVC also offers a myriad of mentors who are already professionals in their respective fields, eager to help teach the new generation of community leaders, plus amazing opportunities to work with local politicians to make definitive changes in the community.
