2009 Voter Registration & Election Community Outreach at H-mart

On Wednesday, February 25, 2009, the Korean American Voters’ Council (KAVC) student volunteers traveled to a local H-Mart in an effort to help educate and reach out to the community pertaining to the upcoming elections in 2009, especially the important Mayoral Elections for NYC. The student volunteers also helped register a new voter and answered various questions pertaining to voting status posed by inquiring shoppers.
