NYC Board of Elections is holding a demonstration for the new Ballot Making Device, which will be available to voters in the 2008 Fall Primary and General Elections.
The new voting machine is ES&S BMD AutoMARK. BOE will replace all of the over 7,000 lever machines currently used in New York City for the 2009 elections and beyond. The voting system selected for 2009 and beyond may be different from the BMD devices being used in 2008.
KAVC recomends Korean American voters participate the demonstration and check Korean language availability of the device. We should improve Korean language accessibility.
Location: Queens Brough Hall at 120-55 Queens Blvd, Kew Gardens, NY 11415
Time: Monday 6-8 PM, Aug. 4th, 2008
